I had a lot of fun at Hellyer, they do track racing well. They had tamales and a keg (not for the riders), and they spectators were happy.
I ended up 2nd overall in the 3/4 field and almost missed getting my picture taken on the podium since I had left the velodrome to walk to the restroom. If it's at all possible, I'm going back in August for the next Friday night race...

I'm actually visiting a friend in Stockton. I'm leaving tonight. Racing in San Jose wasn't on our itinerary. Maybe if I had planned ahead.
