Nope. Finally starting to look for work, after realizing that at least one loose end just isn't going to get tied up anytime soon.

Lots of power/energy openings in this area. I just need to score names of some actual people to whom I can send cover letter and résumé (vs into an HR dark hole)....

Welp, I didn't run last night. Had to settle for a nice walk w/ my wife and dinner. Gonna shoot for Friday now.

VV, in my partner's defense, she's headed to SoCal to "babysit" her 14 y.o. grandson while his parents (her son & DIL) head to Chicago for a coporate event. She scheduled this trip 6 mos. ago. Nobody could predict this escrow, let alone this escrow going on life support.

Sat in a Coldwell Banker corporate sales rally today, and while I had plans to bail and do something more productive, I'm glad I went and was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned. And I met another Twitterer that I've known on Twitter for 2+ yrs., now I know her for reelz. She runs half-marathons and does centuries -- so we're gonna hook up and ride.

As for that #30daysofbiking...the weather was sketchy, virga, over-developed cumies all around, some squalls passing through pushed by great winds...I did this with no helmet, no gloves, no shame, since only outside rides count. Otherwise I would have taken the night off.

For the record, Mr. RR's employer, Conoco-Phillips, gives Good Fri. off, so we're planning gym + bike time before I go show property. Gotta take my fun time when I can.

Got my neighbors from the airport last night. Their flight was about an hour late getting in, mostly because airport here told airports sending flights this way to hold them 'til 7:30pm (severe storms here last night). They were tired, but happy to be home. I'm happy to have them back. I really do miss seeing them out and about when they're gone.

Rained most of the night and still raining. Supposed to fair off by noon and turn into a sunny, dry, low-humidity weekend.

Guess that's my cue to wash the car tomorrow. And maybe cut the grass on Sunday. It seems to have shot up an inch already since yesterday.

Oh, yeah. 'Mornin', all.
