Pretty much all the meat I get now is grass-fed and pastured-raised from local farms. I've been getting heritage Rhode Island Reds and you can really see (and taste) the difference – the factory farmed models are very dry and tasteless in comparison. The legs are bigger from running around and there is no genetically-inflated breast meat. Plus, there are no globs of yellow fat or ammonia-bleach water running out of it.

It reminds me of overhearing a guy dissing female cyclists as "Skinny A-cups with thighs bigger than mine." I guess we are what we eat.

Put two handfuls of sliced almonds in the oven at 350 degrees for 6 minutes
sautee a few cloves of garlic (pressed) with sea salt and pepper
boil green beans for 5-6 minutes, remove and run under cold water
toss grean beans, garlic and almonds in a bowl with olive oil, sea salt and pepper.

I hate vegetables. I really like this. you should try it.

Cool

yippee..I made my lunch for the first time successfully . The dish is Baby beet, lamb and spinach salad.
500g lamb backstraps
1/3 cup olive oil
100g baby spinach leaves
75g feta cheese, crumbled
425g can baby beets, drained, halved
1/3 cup walnuts, toasted
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Must try out dish...it took me about an hour to get through this dish but think the professionals can do this within 15-20mins.

Palio is a godsend for my training - all grass fed meats, wild fish, no salt, no carbs, no beans, corn, or dairy - sport legs and endurolites on rides with the usual go juice
