Please join our team. This will be my 10th year-RIDING FOR THE AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION.
Our team is starting to form up now: Team Skunk Works

This is a fund raiser for the American Diabetes Association. This is a family event. Even my SO comes. We all have fun. Minimum fund raising goal is $175. Not too hard to do. If you happen to raise $500 or more that entitles you to thank you gifts from the ADA one of which is a riding jersey.

Tour de Cure, Long Beach, CA
Sunday April 29, 2012
The Queen Mary, Long Beach, CA

Event Highlights
There is a route for everyone: 8 miles, 10 miles, 20 miles, 32 miles, 61 miles or 100 miles.

The Tour de Cure Ship to Shore provides all cyclists with the unique opportunity to ride across the great Port Bridges The Vincent Thomas and the Gerald Desmond and raise funds to Stop Diabetes. Along with Full and Metric Century rides through some of LAs most dramatic scenery, Tour de Cure offers shorter options, such as an 11 mile ride with a free harbor cruise back to the Queen Mary and a flat 8 mile ride along the Shoreline Cycle Path.

Each of our unique routes features fully supported rest stops with refreshments and mechanical support. Complimentary breakfast and lunch is provided at the Queen Mary along with Diabetes related information, kids activities, music and other fun festivities.

Your participation will support research to prevent and cure diabetes as well
as programs to improve the lives of those affected by diabetes.

Click on 'Click Here To Join My Team'. Last year we had over 20 riders. You can buy one of our team jerseys for about $24 if you like.

35 Riders on the team now. Get your group to sign up with us and ride with your team jersey or buy one of our jerseys at a very low pricing. There is a route for all levels.

I have to do some bragging. We have 38 team members riding various options. Collectively we have raised over $10,000!

Scuttle-butt is we might get FREE team jerseys.

I would love to see more bicyclists join with us. The ride is not until April 29th.

Just an amazing an accomplishment. AHMC Rehab Riders are the first team in the history of this event to recruit more than 200 members!

There is still time to join our team and all are welcome.

By the way we lost Anchovy climb this year due to the land slide the re-route isn't anything like it. But still a nice little hill we use the route on our normal rides that take us around that area.
