Taylor let me sleep in till around 6am. It's easier to just get up and feed her than try to ignore her. Feed her and go back to bed, she eats, does the potty stuff, then comes back to bed to sleep more. . Oh and while I was up, I fixed 3 Eggo waffes with fresh sliced strawberries in between and over them for my breakfast.

So after finally getting up about 9am, I cleaned my tub, took a shower, put clothes away, showed a guy where I wanted a split rail fence (between bitchy neighbor), stopped at hairdresser to see when I could get cut/color (she wasn't there), and now I'm waiting while my car is cleaned.

What else on this pretty day? Some kind of bookbag/backpack to put my Mitchell stuff in, mow the yard, 1-2hr bike ride, and that might be all.

Pretty day here, too.

Mr. RR's been waking at 4:30 to leave by 5:15 for work for 3 wks. now. I wake up, mumble some sweet nothings, thank him for bringing me coffee (in an insulated mug, wrapped in a towel ), and go back to sleep.

Today I indulgently slept in until after 7, then had bacon, a scrambled egg & toast for breakfast. Well-fueled, I went for a recovery ride, since yesterday was hill training and tomorrow's going to be a long & fast ride. Just right. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Grocery-shopped w/Ms. RR, who is currently cooking up a storm. I be grillin' latah...plenty of swordfish, veggies, and a baby kale salad...just holla!

Nice morning here in N. Gawja. Sipping coffee and trying to figure out what's for breakfast.

Been up since 6:30am after a good night's sleep.

Already had coffee and cereal, email to the man I hope to continue to date (who's currently out of town) has been written, big fat paper has been read, morning pundits have been watched. Had planned to do either a 70k or 100k ride about an hour's drive from here this afternoon, but realized that my whole day would be shot (2hr RT + 3-4hr riding + postride meal + shower + packing/unpacking gear). Would rather hit the trainer, even for 1-1.5 hours, and have the rest of that time to spend doing other things that need to get done, like edging the yard and cutting the grass. I also need to get back to my (late) spring cleaning. I also need to (eventually) clean out my closets, but as the last part of my spring cleaning. First I need to deal with all the stuff that isn't in the closets!

week 4 HW done.
Week 5 HW started.....
email to prof. asking for a heads up on Week 5 discussion, since I'll be out of town and can't guarantee interwebz access all week long.
Going to Wally World later on to see if they have a particular DVD in stock. Then maybe and hour or two ride this afternoon (opted for the hamster wheel yesterday).
This evening, I'll water all the plants and miracle grow all the maters and peppers.

Lawn edged and grass cut.

I should get some pruning done, too, but cannot work up the motivation to get back out there.

Maybe I'll change my mind by the time I finish this ice-cold 15oz Stella. Or two.

I vote string beans or brocolli.

I did go outside and open nearly all of the vents to the crawlspace, and I decided which branches of my crepe myrtles need to come out. But that was the extent of the rest of my outdoor work today.

Just had supper. I think I'll be ready for bed a bit early tonight!

Blueberries! YUM!

The farmers' market about a mile from my house opens this coming Saturday. I can ride my bike there with a bookbag on my back!
