Lol. Not if it fell off. I've seen what happens when a PBJ gets tangled up in spokes. I don't want to think about what teriaki chicken would do.

Well, finally got around to building out that cheap $80 Schwinn Fastback frame I got from Nashbar some time ago. Here is the result:
 I had the wheels, handlebar, seat post, seat, crank, chain and stem. Had to scrounge around for the other stuff. I like it. It fits right between my old Fastback comp and the Scott CR-1 in terms of weight and ride. The fit's actually pretty sweet, too.

VV: Yup. Aluminum triangle and carbon seat and chainstays.
VMac: I have 4 road bikes, one MTB and a hybrid. One of the 4 road bikes is a beater I use for commuting, so it kinda doesn't count. The other 3 are road worthy and bikes I would take on any ride. An 11 year old Schwinn Fastback Comp (still love that bike) A 2008 Scott CR1 Pro (still love that one too). The new Fastback Pro (not in love yet, but I'm getting a crush on it). It's nice to have 2 decent road bikes. That way, when one is on the fritz or in need of adjustment, there is always the other. The only reason I built this bike is because the frame was so cheap and I needed a project to fiddle around with.
