I , for one have already set goals for the rides I have done before and, am looking for harder rides all the time - not to say, I don't like a good flat ride now and again but, there is something to be said about challenging yourself.
best example I can put forth is last week's ride -
I wanted to be to the top by 2:30 PM - an hour before the cut off - - hit 2:36 PM
I wanted a total rolling time of 9 hours - hit 9:00:18
I already want to take AT LEAST 30 minutes off of both those next year
No I didnt say that...
I do a century, then next time try to cut time off of it...I try to challenge myself....there are different ways to do that...
BTW...mark may want to do the LA wheelman Grand tour DM!
