I'd love a little rain storm....there's a few here and there, but they don't seem to be on the move....just exploding in place and dumping a lot rain.

Wolfie, your dinner sounds delish!
We're grilling local white corn, Copper River salmon, peppers, local zukes, red onions, and nectarines for dessert. Picked my first peach of the season from the tree after today's ride. Sweet, firm but not hard, really good.  Watching the TdF, recorded from earlier today, and chillin' -- just what Sunday ordered.

Yay!! A storm rolled through around 330p, dropping hail and very little rain. It also dropped the temps quite a bit. So, with the temps down, I decided to go out for a ride around 6pm. Was a good ride till the last 6mi. Very stiff headwind and boy did that slow me down. Still, I felt so much better on this ride (same route as yesterday)!!
Now watching a cooking show and will head on to bed shortly.

Glad you got your ride in, WP. I know I always feel that all's right with the world after I get my ride in.
Been thrown a curve ball re dinner: Mr. RR is going to grill artichokes, and Ms. RR is making flatbreads from scratch for grilling, as well. She made some toppings, too. I better do something to work up an appetite, as I'm still full from lunch. After we watched the Tour I got to sorting paperwork, and got much filed away. I have a 2" thick pile of documents to shred (can take them to the office tomorrow), a pile 3x that for recycling, and found some marketing pieces I'd collected back in January and forgot about  . I'd like to be more organized but I suck as a secretary.

Mostly finished with my novel, edited the second time. So about three months of work to get it close to what I want. Will do a bit more clean up and then on to find representation for it. This week, I'll start compiling a list of agents. If it goes nowhere, then I'll self-publish this one like I did that last book.

Moanday....the heat and drought conitinue. Rain was headed for my place....it just vanished from the radar about 5 miles away.
 My yard looks like the mojave....and frankly, it's about as hot as the mojave too.

hot and dry here too.. but that is normal for the desert before the monsoon starts.

I think we crested the heatwave here yesterday. High 90F's today and tomorrow, mid-90F's through Monday. Yippie.
Time for me to start thinking about mowing the yard.
