Got mine today. Felt fine 'til about four hours out. Now it's a bit like a sore muscle, but not like the dead limb/painful movement I had before.

The nurse told me that this year's needles are smaller and the preservative isn't the same. I'll know more in the morning, but so far, not as painful, but the soreness is just setting in....

Oh, mommy. I started feeling it when turning over during the night. When I went to brush my hair this morning, could barely lift my arm above shoulder level.

It's feeling better with movement as the day has gone on, but looks like the same soreness I always experience. Probably be ok by Monday.

At least I'll have a better chance now of getting through the rest of the winter unscathed.

What? It took you 4 years to realize this?

Got mine again back in September of this year, a bit early for me, but I was visiting a friend in the hospital, and thought it wise.

The needle is even finer and thinner (so they say), but that two-day "dead-muscle" soreness was still there. I just made it a point to keep moving it. As long as I kept it active, it didn't seem to be as sore.

Glad I got it early. There have already been flu cases reported in South Carolina, just south of the state line. Glad my immunity is already up.
