My sister and I once stopped on the way home when we were out together. We both ordered roast beef sandwiches from H. By the time we got home, we both felt bad. She chose to force herself to vomit, and spent about 10-15 agonizing minutes doing so. I chose to control my nausea and tough it out. About six hours later, I was writhing in my bed and groaning so painfully that my parents called the family doc, who called in a prescription (which was delivered to our house by the family-run pharmacy). I could not be still 'til I took the meds, and later safely "passed" everything in my stools. To this day, my sister still remembers vividly hearing the pain I was in from holding it in. I learned a lot that day, and to this day will readily and voluntarily "purge" anything that doesn't feel right, however uncomfortable it might feel in the moment. I've learned that "uncomfortable" can last for hours and move into higher realms of pain.

ground beef is just a no no for me. ![]() This means chicken tacos, fish tacos, chicken burritos, etc. are ok, but no beef at the mexi restaurant. I haven't tried buffalo meat yet. |

Strange, but worthy of a foray into the medical literature.
One question: when you cook the beef, do you drain off all the fat? In the meantime, do any other cuts of beef bother you? And I hope you can find grass-fed buffalo soon. My Harris-Teeter carries it. It's apparently raised in CO, but (what's in my local store) is processed in NC and then sent to NC HT stores. |

No issues with steaks or roasts (so far). I suspect its early issues with the gall bladder, but there's no pain involved. |

I am feeling a little better...went to Walgreen's to pick up a couple of prescriptions, then to PetSmart for some joint stuff for Taylor. Still don't really feel like eating anything though.
I'm not sure if it was simply overeating or something wrong with part of the meal. As I said, I've had this before and not had such a reaction. Maybe my stomach has shrunk more in the past 1.5mo and I simply can't eat all of the meal anymore....either way, I know I will not be eating Mexican for a while.
