Made it 11 miles and then bagged it. Wow, killed an entire water bottle in less than an hour.

Excessive Heat Warning now posted for our areas plus warnings from the power companies to reduce consumption. Temps tomorrow 100-105. Probably won't drop below mid 70's tonight.

It's nearly 11 pm and still 81*. That's how I know the high pressure is staying. Saturday's race should be a sufferfest.

I am expecting a hard ride tomorow. Riding with the Bull Shifters, and the morning lows have been in the mid - upper 80's, with dew points 50 - 60

Hmm...just got offered a business trip to New Orleans in late October. Never been to NOLA...might have to sign up for this one.

A bit after 8 pm left coast time.....temp about 90. Did a nice swim at the gym....had the lane to myself...this time of year I don't mind the outdoor pool.

Shop ride leaves at 7 tomorrow instead of 8 'cause it's supposed to be 105.
