Thanks Heith.

I've made a living picking up trash and cleaning toilets for 30+ years.

In my unscientific, mostly anecdotal but conscious observations, I would say cyclists (both road and dirt) are at the better end of the spectrum of litterers. So good, that when I see someone intentionally throw a wrapper to the ground, it really stands out. Smokers are absolutely on the worst end of the spectrum. If cyclists had the same attitude with their wrappers that smokers have with their butts, the roads would need to be plowed constantly.

Constantly plowing butts isn't that bad of a job. Definitively not ideal, but not horrible either.

Hey grumpy, I bet you've seen some things you wish you hadn't.

I was very disappointed today at Clear Creek. Someone had taken all there bike cycle trash, wrappers, and shoved them between the water fountain and the Ranger Station. Hell, the trash can is only 15 feet away from that.

Really? Huh.

I bet it's cheaper than buying GU packs and the like, too. I might have to try that.

Honey cost about 15-20 cents an ounce. Gel pac about $1.50 an ounce + enters your blood stream faster

I know this is way off the topic but seeing the direction it's going I thought I'd offer the following.

Gels, too much Maltodextrin.http://http://www.glycemicindex-advi...mic-Index.html

Go with honey. http://www.benefits-of-honey.com/hea...-of-honey.html
