Nice! Clyde showed me his compound bow and how he uses the same two reference points. He also has some kind of stop on his draw so that he pulls consistently. He said that he could dial me in like that, even on a rental. I'll definitely be going back.

Wow...you're going to do an FITA shoot? Sweet!

Nice! I'll pass that on.

Might not get back out there 'til next week. Pretty busy through the weekend, and I may try to do ladies' night (half-price range fee) at the shooting range on Tuesday night.

Thinking about just buying a Genesis compound bow kit rather than renting. The bow isn't that expensive, and as long as I shoot x-number of times with it, it pays for itself. Range fee is just $10 for the day with my own equipment.

I just made arrangements to go to the "range" on Saturday.
I don't know if you remember AllenG, but it's his place. He lives about an hour from me and has a large "farm".

wow! looks as I have to add target practice to running and cycling!

I do have a Remington 597 22 and Marlin 22 rifles. I would like a shotgun and a pistol or 2

I think it is a Remington 870 12-guage I would like. You can get them on sale at Big 5 sports for $329. Would love to do some trap shooting with it. there is a state range 20 miles from my home
