Day-um. Just heard on the noon news that FBI is raiding the Cherryville City Hall and police department as I type. Cherryville is in Gaston County, just to the west of my county.

Not yet known why they are raiding, but there have been some "accounting" irregularities in those offices in recent years....

Anyone know if R-dad is ok after that earthquake yesterday up there in Maine?

I don't think there were any major damages up there. It was only 4.6.

Sorry to hear you both have been robbed, WP & MV. That effing sucks. Hope you get your sitches sorted out.

Still plugging along, trying to get my team and installation gala together. It's going well, but we're now 29 days out and in need of sponsors and I need a dress, too.

Rode the trainer while watching the debate on Tues.; first time since April. It's better than not riding.

Been up since 6:30am. UPS is bringing my ammo today and I didn't want to have to answer the door in my jammies.

Taking a break to check email and look in here.

Man, it it COLD in my house today! Furnance cycled on and off all night, but I had to bump the set-temp up to 66F today. 64F is just too chilly.

Any idea where the check was used? When this happened to us, there were several in small amounts ($50-200) written to grocery stores, Wallyworld, and a music store. You'd think the owner of the music store would have remembered a customer writing a check, and we asked the police to inquire, but I'm not sure they did. In any case, the problem was resolved by the credit union replacing the money lost from our account.
