Van Nuys to Mammoth Lakes

OK, I'm in, let's plan this now so I can -
1, take of time from work - - plenty of vaca to use
2, get a permission slip from the swmbo - I owe her big time for a few trips this summer - June and july are best - already have some centuries booked later in the summer
3, rope one my friends to drive to my condo in mammoth to bring our sorry a$$es back

after june for sure.... as much as that pains me due to the much higher threat of elevated temps.... but oh well....

in all honesty it really wasn't that bad in mid july... start early, end early!!!!

plus by then those of us in the SFV have been riding in the heat regardless!

all that and i think I'm working through june anyhow....

I've already got the go ahead from the home front.... probably vacationing up there after the ride again.
