I've only added a few starting points - in the Hollywood Hills. I have not yet added the stops that are listed in this thread, if someone can take a moment to do that, it would be appreciated.

I have made this map public and available for anyone to edit. So please, pass it along to your clubs, groups, whatever and we could potentially have a lot of input into known waterstops throughout our favourite routes in SouthernCalifornia.

If you have any questions on how to Edit or Add points in GoogleMaps, please ask.

This really is a great resource. Probably something worth expanding across the country at some point - for the long distance touring cyclists.

Now I just have to figure out how to best load it into the iphone or Garmin as an ongoing reference.

Old thread, but I just wanted to say that I added a water stop location on HWY 39 and a couple on the Santa Ana River Trail. Cool map!

I want to say thanks for the google map with all the water stops. I rode up Angeles Crest Hwy today and thanks to the map, I was able to get refills.

I got to the ranger station at 8:45 AM and saw a few riders up there. When I reached Red Box, there were a lot of cyclists. I wasn't people watching because I had to be home by a certain time. Wife deadline ya know...

I had my GoPro camera with chest mount, if you saw me, you couldn't have missed me. Nerd with camera.
